Surfing Lombok
70Surf Lombok Island
To go Surfing Lombok you do need to be prepared as the Island is huge and not so easy to get around.
If you are deciding to travel over land the best way is by Ferry. It takes a few hours though and you must cross the treacherous Lombok Straight.
There are multiple options once you arrive and the best accommodation can be found around the Kuta Beach Lombok region.
Kuta Beach has a couple of waves nearby but they aren't fantastic, the real world class waves need to be accesses by motorbike or car. If you don't know where they are then you will probably need a guide.
This type of traveling can add up and if you are lacking time then the best way to surf Lombok is by BOAT.
Highly recommended and claimed by many as the Number 1 Surf Charter running out of Bali is the Dreamweaver Surf Boat http://www.dreamweaver-surf.com
The Dreamweaver can save you loads of time get you straight to the waves and place you in the best surf possible on the day. What could be better!
This boat can access the beautiful south coast of Lombok and supply you with unlimited water, food, soft drinks and 4 Beers a day.
The Dreamweaver is fully airconditioned and is super comfortable on those hot steamy nights.

Surfing Lombok & Awsome Fishing
As mentioned above the waves in Lombok are hard to access, but not for the Dreamweaver. This boat had its outriggers removed making it faster, safer and can now access waves that couldn't be reached before.
This 80 ft vessel has gone major renovations and can handle rough conditions and large seas. This when the Dreamweaver comes into its element because it can access those secret spots on Lomboks south coast where no other boats can go. There is huge selection of uncrowded waves along this majestic coastal strip with rights and lefts just begging to be ridden. Best of all, it will be with just your mates and boat members.
Surfing Lombok! How many can the Dreamweaver take?
The boat can take up to 14 guests with ease in large bunk style beds. There is plenty of storage space for packs and surfboards. Heaps of chilling out space, open air dining with an air conditioned lounge.

So hopefully you have decided to take up the over water surf charter experience. If yes, then this is how we travel and over how long.
The Dreamweaver-Surf journey starts in Bali at approximately 7am. First stop is Nusa Lembongan. The waves available here are Shipwrecks (super fun right hand peak with tube sections).
Razors- Super fast left hand waves, down the line adrenaline.
Lacerations - Mega hollow short and dangerous, great fun.
Playgrounds- A dominant left bowl peak with the odd right, likes to bend back on itself.
After a day in Lembongan we head off for Lombok and look for the best waves available. The choice becomes your with lots options available. The local surf guides will direct you in the right direction and tell you where the best waves will be. Yes, then you choose!
As you can see Surfing Lombok can be a lifetime experience.
